DeConnick gives Carol a fun supporting cast and then barely uses them? Captain Marvel can fly but her defining character trait is that she loves airplanes? Her friendship with Jessica Drew is often featured, which is a cute idea, but Jess has no personality here whatsoever? Most of the stories seem to have decent foundations, but end up being confusing.
